Your guide will meet you and take you through an informative safety briefing before your morning lion walk with our team of experienced guides.
Join our lions on a walk through the park, while they explore their natural habitat, playing and stalking to hone their hunting skills. Enjoy the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to safely interact with them and get closer than you ever thought possible.
Return to camp and enjoy a generous full English and Continental breakfast at the dining area.
Enjoy some time to explore the main camp grounds; seeing some of the smaller wildlife and exquisite birds that frequent the area in the mornings.
Be met by your guide and transported to the elephant bomas in the park, where our elephant handlers will tell you the story of how our resident orphan elephants came to be with us, and give you the opportunity to gently interact with them. Enjoy the birds’ eye view of the park and wildlife, and learn more about these fascinating creatures as they browse the shrubbery, occasionally offering their handlers gifts of stones or grass.
After your elephant walk in the bush, take some time out to relax beside the sparkling swimming pool, enjoy a delicious buffet style lunch, and take advantage of the many activities available at the main camp such as canoeing or fishing on the lake, tour the snake centre or view the lion cubs – depending on their mood, they may even decide to come over and investigate you!
In the late afternoon, make your way to the stables, where you’ll be paired with a horse and make your way out into the reserve for an unforgettable horseback safari. Get up close and personal with wildlife such as giraffe, zebra and scores of antelope, who are accustomed to the horses. This activity offers unparalleled photographic opportunities, and is tailored to the riding levels of participants.
Be met by your guide and climb aboard the game viewing vehicle for the experience of a lifetime. Follow our resident lions in the bush from the safety of the vehicle and watch as they hunt in their natural habitat at night. Guests have a 40% chance of seeing the lions make a kill!
Return to the lodge and relax with a drink at the bar area, watching the incredible sunset from its raised deck before enjoying a safari-style dinner, served buffet style. After dinner, relax and share stories around the fire pit, or marvel at the innumerous stars that are visible from the park at night.
