Named after the beautiful mopane trees that turn red in spring time across the northern section of Antelope Park, Mopane Lodge is a charming, brick-under-thatch retreat that’s perfect for families, small groups, or friends seeking a social and spacious stay. Just a short stroll across our picturesque wooden bridge from the main camp, this lodge offers both privacy and easy access to everything Antelope Park has to offer.

With a double-volume interior, large deck overlooking the river, and flexible sleeping arrangements, Mopane Lodge comfortably accommodates up to 8 guests. It features two inter-leading bedrooms with a mix of double and single beds in a relaxed, dorm-style layout. The lodge includes two bathrooms with both indoor and open-air hot showers, providing a unique and refreshing bush experience.

Mopane Lodge includes tea and coffee making facilities, and a bar fridge. For added convenience, guests can also enjoy delicious lunches, dinners, and light meals at our safari-style restaurant or relaxed Café.

Standard Rooms

For travellers seeking an affordable yet comfortable stay in the heart of nature, our Standard Rooms are the perfect choice. Neatly arranged in a thatched brick terrace, each room sleeps two guests in twin beds and opens onto a communal veranda furnished with tables and chairs, ideal for relaxing in the shade and soaking up the sounds of the bush.

Situated in a peaceful, tree-lined area near the lake, swimming pool, and main lodge, these compact rooms offer great value for those who want more than a tent but are still travelling on a budget. Whether you’re a camper looking to upgrade, or just in need of a simple, cosy room with all the essentials, our Standard Rooms are an excellent option.

While the rooms do not have en-suite bathrooms, guests have access to a clean, well-maintained ablution block with hot showers, located just a few steps away and shared with the nearby campsite. Meals are not included but can be enjoyed at our safari-style restaurant or Coffee Shop & Café.
